马丁·布朗芬布伦纳(Martin Bronfenbrenner，1914－1997年)，享誉国际的经济学家。1934年在芝加哥大学获得博士学位。此后他曾在多所大学任教，如罗斯福大学、威斯康星大学及密歇根州立大学等。从1971年起，他在杜克大学担任坎南经济学讲座教授直到1984年退休，退休后，他一直在日本的青山学院大学任教，直到l990年。他一生发表了250多篇学术论文，出版了5部专著。其著作涵盖的主题包括收入分配理论、货币经济学、财政理论、商业周期理论、不完全竞争理论、劳动经济学、发展经济学、马克思主义经济学、比较经济体制、经济思想史及国际经济学等。他的学术成就使其成为美国科学艺术院院士和美国经济学会的杰出会员。
